How to drive:

Tip 1:

As driving in a pair is team work the pilot needs to have a relaxed pillion rider who feels comfortable, otherwise there will be tensions and frictions endangering a safe, easy, speedy drive. This is why you might wish to pass a professional coaching.

For more information please turn to www.privatinstruktor.de.

It is essential that driver and pillion rider do confide in each other.  It is useful to agree upon a sign that indicates that the pillion rider has overextended himself.  Do speak openly about feeling comfortable with each other, both need to see their wishes accepted – act like a team!

Tip 2:

Air pressure/ spring preload: Make sure to adjust air pressure accordingly to manufacture`s manual!  Note down the pressure you begin with as single driver.  Do check it before each ride, minimum on a daily basis.  Apart from breaking distance, temperature of the tyre, air pressure is an important cause for motorbike accidents – safety first!

Tip3:

Sitting position: In order to ensure a safe ride both driver and pillion rider need enough space to avoid Ferreira effect and slide over for the pillion rider.  Therefore it is necessary to install Duo-drive/ a-sider on the filler cap to relieve the pillion rider.  The pillion rider will feel considerably less pain in the wrist joint and will keep up shape.
